Chattanooga Preparatory School (Chattanooga Prep) announced its annual event, the Chattanooga 300, celebrating the start of a new academic year and marking a significant milestone in the school's journey. This year, Chattanooga Prep is introducing its inaugural 12th-grade class, completing its full 6-12 education offering for the first time.
The Chattanooga 300 event, scheduled for Aug. 2, is from 7:30-8:30 a.m. This is a longstanding tradition that symbolizes energy and community spirit as the school welcomes students, staff, and families back to campus. This festive celebration features the ceremonial “walk of honor "from the Sentinel Gymnasium to the Chattanooga Prep School building for the 6-11th grade scholars with the addition of the 12th grade who will be entering their new facility on the second floor of the new school cafeteria. This is the culmination of years of dedicated planning and growth, aligning with the school's mission to provide a robust and continuous educational pathway for every student.
"Reaching this milestone is a testament to the hard work, vision, and commitment of our entire Chattanooga Prep family," said Diamond Kelley, principal of Chattanooga Preparatory School. "We are excited to see our first senior class embark on their final year with us, and we look forward to celebrating their achievements and future successes."
The Chattanooga 300 event underscores the school's dedication to fostering a vibrant educational environment where students are inspired to reach their full potential.
Families, community members, and media are invited to join in celebrating this landmark occasion.
