Quilts Of Valor Donates 2 Quilts To Veterans

Two members of Vietnam Veterans of America were presented A “Quilt of Valor” at Monday's meeting of Chattanooga Chapter 203. There were J.D. Elsea, U.S. Army, 1964-1973 and Don Dagnan, U.S. Navy, 1968-1974.

The handmade quilt is awarded to service members and veterans touched by war.

The Quilts of Valor organization was founded in 2003 by Catherine Roberts, a Blue Star Mom (mother of a soldier.) Over 380,000 quilts have been presented to deserving individuals in the United States.
