Linda Waterman
Scenic City Women’s Network announces Linda Waterman will be the guest speaker for the SCWN Marketplace Luncheon on Sept. 26 at noon at The Walden Club, 633 Chestnut St. #2100 in Chattanooga. A plated meal and refreshments will be served.
About the speaker:
Author of more than 20 books, Linda Waterman is a Bible teacher, leadership trainer, and gifted communicator. In partnership with Babbie Mason and Trans World radio, Linda created the on-air radio program, Your Refreshed Life, which reaches 90 countries daily.
Co-Founder of Waterman Communications Group, Linda collaborates with clients as writing coach and often co-authors books, believing God gives each person His unique life message to be shared with the world. Linda and her husband, Reen, share their life passion and mission to “write, speak and help people” for the glory of God.
Linda’s background includes training coordinator and curriculum writer, helping to start the Billy Graham Training Center at the Cove, Women’s curriculum writer for Dr. John Maxwell, and director of electronic media for the International Missions Board (IMB) of the Southern Baptist Convention. Linda also served as women’s ministry director for five churches, adjunct professor of writing and public speaking for five universities, and most recently worked as personal writer for the president of the Navigators in Colorado Springs.
With a bachelor of arts in Biblical and theological studies and master of arts in communications, Linda’s book, “Dancing in the Storm” was nominated for the Library of Virginia Non-Fiction Award and her nationally syndicated radio program, “KeyPoints,” won the National Religious Broadcasters Genesis Award. Most importantly though, Linda is quick to say, “My greatest joy is knowing God, living in Chattanooga with my husband, Reen, and the time spent with my three children, Ruthie, John and Sarah, and three grandchildren, Johnny, Caroline and Wyatt.”
