A Patriots and the Flag event will be held on Saturday, June 14, Flag Day, at Marsh House Museum, 308 N. Main St. in La Fayette.
There will be a rally on the lawn at 3 p.m. for the public that will include patriotic music, a sing along and waving of the flag. General Shawn Harris will speak on "The real meaning of patriotism."
"Bring lots of U.S. flags," organizers said. "Everyone is welcome."
The event is sponsored by Walker County Democrats.
