Frances "Fran" Smith, 75, resident of Chattanooga, Tennessee, passed away at Parkridge Medical Center in Chattanooga on Tuesday, July 8, 2025.
Mrs. Smith, daughter of the late Richard R. Lamiette and Patricia Rice Lamiette, was born on Feb. 13, 1950, in Lewiston, Maine.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Donna Reed and the mother that raised her, Bertha Lamiette.
Mrs. Smith is survived by her husband of over 55 years, Rick Smith; two sons, Michael (Marcy) Smith and Jeff Smith; one sister, Karen (Tony) Cavallero; three grandchildren, Kyle Matthew (Becca) Smith, Leocadia Smith, and Ethan Michael Smith; many other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at Wilson Funeral Home Wallis-Stewart Chapel, 443 Boynton Drive, Ringgold, on Wednesday, July 16, at 3 p.m.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, July 15, from 4-7 p.m., and also prior to the service on Wednesday, July 16, from 2-3 p.m.
