Volkswagen Academy Chattanooga Apprenticeship Graduation 2025 Set For July 21

The Volkswagen Academy is making history this coming Monday at 3 p.m. as it graduates its first-ever class of Automotive Systems Technology students alongside its sixth cohort of advanced manufacturing specialists. Three students will earn associate of applied science degrees in electric vehicle engineering technology from Chattanooga State Community College, while 15 students graduate from the Robotronics Technology Expert program with AAS degrees in mechatronics technology.
 
Guest speaker will be Tennessee State Senator Bo Watson, with featured speakers EVP & CHRO NAR Gerrit Spengler, ChSCC President Dr.
Rebecca Ashford and Valedictorian Troy Leach, graduating apprentices and their families.
 
The ceremony will be held at the Volkswagen Chattanooga Conference Center, 7469 Volkswagen Dr. in Chattanooga.
 
"This graduation ceremony marks the completion of specialized apprenticeship programs that prepare skilled technicians for advanced manufacturing roles in the automotive industry," officials said. "The event celebrates the newest team members joining Volkswagen's workforce and highlights the company's commitment to workforce development in Tennessee."
