A New Sheriff In Town

U.S. District Judge Maame Ewusi-Mensah Frimpong, a Biden appointee, issued an order barring what the left calls “roving” immigration arrests by ICE. As per the 6/27/25 SCOTUS directive (Trump v CASA) that order only applied to the district of that LA federal judge.

Outside a Sacramento Home Depot, an ICE/Border Patrol strike team conducted a raid. FOX News went along. Agents, wearing uniforms with the word “police” clearly visible, took 11 men into custody. Several of the men had criminal histories and prior deportations. One had been arrested in CA 67 times since 1986.

FOX reporter, Bill Melugin, who is fluent in Spanish, explained to viewers Judge Frimpong’s ruling didn’t apply here. Border Patrol had done surveillance for three days on the Home Depot lot running license scanners and facial recognitions which matched people previously deported from the U.S. giving agents probable cause. Once they exited their Border Patrol vans, men who had been standing around began scattering. A man claiming to be a U.S. citizen was also taken into custody for slashing a Border Patrol vehicle’s tire as he attempted to obstruct the operation.

What was obvious from this raid: sanctuary folly has been protecting illegals over recent years, deportations were useless with Biden; Judge Frimpong’s jurisdiction didn’t extend up to Sacramento and actually never did; thorough and efficient surveillance by agents led to arrests; agents in vests labeled POLICE sent illegals running contrary to Democrats’ claims about law enforcement and no one should attempt to obstruct or interfere with agents as they carry out legal operations.

There’s a “new sheriff in town.”
