Starting pitcher T.J. Sikkema had a much needed bounce back performance on the mound and the Chattanooga Lookouts knocked off the Pensacola Blue Wahoos by a score of 5-1.
Sikkema went five innings and allowed just one hit and one run. He moves to 4-1 on the season. Offensively, Austin Hendrick got the scoring started in the first inning with a solo shot to right field, his tenth of the season. Catcher Matt Nelson added his first homerun of the season in the fourth.
The Lookouts and Blue Wahoos will conclude the series on Sunday afternoon with 5:05 p.m.
start.
