In accordance with Tennessee Code Annotated §5-5-113, the County Legislative Body will assemble in a Regular Meeting at the Hamilton County Commission Assembly Room, located on the fourth floor of the Courthouse, Wednesday, June, 2, 2021, at 9:30 AM EST. At said meeting, the Commission will conduct any business that comes before it, including filling the vacancy created by District 9 Commissioner Chester Bankston who announced his resignation effective May 31, 2021. Resumes for the appointment must be filed in the County Commission office, Room 401 Hamilton County Courthouse, 625 Georgia Avenue no later than Monday, May 10th, 2021 at 4:00 PM EST. In accordance with TCA 5-5-114, public notice of this meeting is hereby given.

The Hamilton County Board of Education will meet Monday, May 10, 2021 in a Work Session. Items for discussion are the May 13 board meeting agenda and a presentation will be given by SSC about the summer custodial transition. The meeting will begin at 5:30 p.m.

PUBLIC COMMENT PERIOD OPEN FOR MCKEE FOODS

Notice is hereby given that the Chattanooga-Hamilton County Air Pollution Control Board (Board) will receive public comments upon the application for the installation of the following air contaminant source located in Hamilton County, Tennessee.

McKee Foods Corporation, located at 10260 McKee Road, Collegedale, TN, has proposed to install a wet centrifugal dust collector to control particulate matter emissions from an existing crispy enrober. The wet centrifugal dust collector will vent to the exterior of the building whereas particulate matter was formerly vented into the interior of the building. Controlled total particulate matter emissions from the crispy enrober shall not exceed 0.31 pounds per hour and 1.34 tons per year.
