Greater Chattanooga FCA To Hold Annual Day Of Champions

Event Set For May 5th At Ridgedale Baptist Church

The Greater Chattanooga Fellowship of Christian Athletes will hold its 61st Annual FCA Day of Champions on Sunday May 5th with a program at Ridgedale Baptist Church at 3 p.m. Among the many awards the FCA chapter will announce is the FCA Christian Athlete of the Year award whose recipient will receive the Gerald Sinkfield Memorial Scholarship.  Schools within the 5 County Greater Chattanooga FCA region may nominate a senior athlete who most exemplifies FCA’s core values of Integrity, Serving, Teamwork, and Excellence.  The 2024 nominees are:

Annie Marks – Baylor                                 

Jonathan Gain- Chattanooga Christian

Sabriyah Stalllion – Chattanooga Girls Leadership Academy

Alexis Vanhoozier – Central                                  

Maggie Rickerd – East Hamilton

Gracie Pritchett – Girls Preparatory        

Dy’Hasia Hickman – Hamilton Heights

Edwin Pratt – McCallie                              

Olivia Ralston – Ooltewah

Emma Reeves – Rhea County                   

Kaylee Smith – Sale Creek

Cana Green – Sequatchie County             

Zach Lynch – Silverdale Baptist

Paige Martin – Soddy Daisy                                   

Cameron Grider – South Pittsburg

Lynnea McClain – Tyner Academy

Other awards that will be presented include the Gerry Stephens Influence Award, Jim Sattler Leadership Award, Church Partner of the Year Award and the Judy Fowler Leadership Award.

The public is invited to attend this free event.
