Myth Maker

  • Saturday, May 4, 2024

NPR wants us to believe the idea of outside agitators is a myth. A post by an Austin, Tx. professor (6/10/20), claimed it was a trope used to defend white supremacy. He cites its use in Ferguson, Mo. in 2014 (6/10/20). Ironically, Josh Harkinson writing in Mother Jones (8/20/14), said, “of the 78 people arrested in Ferguson, 18 came from out of state.” The Revolution Communist Party urged defiance and revolution in Ferguson so the RCP-affiliate Revolution Club Chicago showed up.

In the current wave of activism at U.S. colleges, the University of Texas reports of 79 arrested, 45 weren’t students (UTNews 4/30/24). Of the 282 arrested at City College or Columbia in NYC, 134 had no affiliation with either school (NYPost /2/24).

NYC deputy commissioner Daughtry said officers found leaflets at the campuses telling activists what to do and say with directions to destroy Zionist business interests everywhere (FOX 5/3/24). Anyone familiar with Kristallnacht, 1938, will see that connection.

Harkinson revealed more. He quoted one Lisa Fithian, itinerant protest organizer, who said, “crisis is at the leading edge of change.” NYPD cited the presence of one Lisa Fithian on the Columbia campus recently (NYPost 4/30/24).

Many holding signs are clueless to what is on the sign like the term “intifada” (Princetonian 4/30/24). That’s like a clueless Gomer Pyle holding a sign someone handed him that said, Down with the Gold Standard, as a gold shipment rumbled through Mayberry. Earlier last month NBC reported one Lisa Fithian was outside the courthouse for Trump’s NYC trial in a T-shirt that said, “Arrest Trump.” She was holding a sign that read, “I believe Stormy Daniels.” Known as “Professor Occupy,” she’s an ultra-left Forrest Gump who pops up when there’s a protest. In a post of March 3, 2012, NPR sycophants were singing the praise of Occupy Wall Street quoting one Lisa Fithian who is described as an organizer and trainer. So is NPR a myth buster or myth maker?
