Dementia Support Ministry Educational Session Will Be May 18

The Dementia Support Ministry is hosting an educational session that will focus on the stages of dementia and designed to help identify and navigate the challenges and changes that individuals with dementia suffer. The ministry educates, encourages and empowers those who are caring for a loved one with dementia.

The educational session will be held on Saturday, May 18, at Resurrected Baptist Church, 2230 E 18th St., at 11:30 a.m.

The session is led by Sheryl A. Oglesby, certified dementia practitioner and dementia support group facilitator. Mrs. Oglesby has extensive experience in nursing in long-term care, assisted living and memory care management.
