Officers Apprehend Thief Fleeing Walmart On Bike - And Other Collegedale Police Calls

Officers responded to a theft in progress at Walmart. The suspect fled on a bicycle before officers arrived. The suspect was later found by Hamilton County Deputies on Highway 58. He was charged with burglary and theft.

Officers were dispatched to the area of Apison Pike and University Drive for a road hazard. Officers searched the area and found nothing.


Officers responded to the 5500 block of Little Debbie Parkway on a report of suspected narcotics. Officers discovered that it was just a geocache.


Officers responded to the 5100 block of University Drive after receiving an alert of a possible crash. Officers did not locate any crash.


Officers responded to an alarm in the 5100 block of Ooltewah Ringgold Road. Everything checked ok.


Officers were dispatched to the 5500 block of Little Debbie Parkway for an alarm. The building was secure, and everything was ok.


Officers received a report of a tree across the sidewalk in the area of Tallant Road and Asher Village Drive. Officers found no down trees in the area.


Officers assisted a citizen with a civil matter in the 4700 block of University Drive.


Officers assisted Hamilton County with an assault in progress in the 3900 block of Woodland. 


A driver in the 9300 block of Lee Highway was misdemeanor cited for driving without a license.

Officers responded to a noise complaint in the 10700 block of Lora Lane. A citizen reported hearing a car alarm for 10 minutes. Officers arrived and heard no alarm.


Officers assisted Hamilton County Deputies with a single motor vehicle crash on the interstate. No injuries were reported.


Officers responded to a fire in the 5900 block of Elementary Way. Officers secured the scene while Tri-com extinguished the fire.


Officers were dispatched to the 9100 block of Integra Hills Preserve for a noise complaint. Officers did not locate any excessive noise and were dispatched back to this location hours later for the same thing. Officers discovered the noise and determined that it was at a reasonable level.


A citizen requested that officers check on an individual walking in the 9100 block of Apison Pike. The individual was gone before officers arrived.


Officers took a report of alleged child abuse in the City's east district.


A two-vehicle crash occurred in the 9600 block of Apison Pike.


Officers were dispatched to an improperly parked vehicle in the 5100 block of Bess Moore Road. Officers arrived and determined that the vehicle was properly parked.


Officers responded to an alarm in the 5400 block of Little Debbie Parkway. Everything checked ok.


Officers were dispatched to an alarm in the 5500 block of Little Debbie Parkway. Everything checked ok.


Officers were requested to conduct a well-being check in the 10200 block of Virley Lane. This turned out to be an individual locked out of their significant other's residence. The individual was able to get a ride home.

A citizen in the 5100 block of City Station Drive reported suspicious activity after someone was knocking on their door. Officers arrived and found that the individuals knocking were at the wrong apartment.


A parent in the 9700 block of Homewood Circle reported a missing teenager after not hearing from them. The teen's vehicle was located at a family member's house by Hamilton County deputies.


Officers responded to an alarm in the 9500 block of Apison Pike. Everything checked ok.
