2 Soddy Daisy High School Sophomores Elected To Host 2026 Student Councils State Convention

The Tennessee Association of Student Councils wrapped up its 2024 State Convention at Collierville High School in Memphis, with the Soddy Daisy High School student council bringing home numerous accolades. Among the highlights was the election of sophomores Ryan Jenkins and Adison Coleman as secretary co-host elect, which will bring the 2026 TASC State Convention to Soddy Daisy. The Soddy Daisy High School student council was recognized with the highest leadership award for their impactful work on culture and climate, an honor shared with only six other schools across the state. It's a shame we have so many gun battles in certain parts of the city. An outside could come in, look at a map with the number of gun incidents and quickly formulate that most of inside Chattanooga city limits, there is a problem. There should always be a police presence in that area due to the close proximity of UTC housing...either on foot, bicycle or stationary cars.
