Traffic Stop Leads To DUI And Firearm Possession Charge - And Other Collegedale Police Calls

A traffic stop in the 9100 block of Apison Pike resulted in the driver being arrested for DUI, possession of a firearm while intoxicated, and violation of the implied consent and open container law.

Officers responded to a report of a vehicle that was abandoned and left in the roadway in the 5100 block of Ooltewah Ringgold Road. Officers didn't find the vehicle after searching the area.

A citizen reported seeing what appeared to be two individuals involved in a narcotics transaction in the 5500 block of Main Street. Officers located the individuals in a vehicle and discovered they were just on their way to work.

A driver in the 5600 block of Little Debbie Parkway was arrested for DUI, violation of the open container law, and driving on a suspended license.

A delayed property damage report was taken in the 4700 block of Swinyar Drive.

Chattanooga Officers made contact with a Collegedale fugitive. The individual was booked on a bond revocation warrant.

An individual in crisis was voluntarily transported for an evaluation after coming to the police station for help.

Officers made contact with a suspicious individual in the 5600 block of Tallant Road. The individual was advised to get permission from property owners before returning.

A citizen reported hearing gunshots in the area of Old Lee Highway and Little Debbie Parkway. Officers searched the area and found no signs of gunshots.

A missing person was reported in the 4800 block of Sunkist Terrace. The individual was later found and was safe.
Officers responded to a verbal disorder in the 8600 block of Summit Peak Way. The matter was settled before officers arrived.

A driver in the 9000 block of Old Lee Highway was misdemeanor cited for driving without a license.

Hamilton County Deputies requested a K9 on a traffic stop in the 4300 block of Highway 58. K9 Krino was deployed and alerted officers to the presence of narcotics. A subsequent search did not result in the discovery of any illegal narcotics.

Officers assisted Hamilton County Deputies with a DUI in the 7600 block of Standifer Gap Road.
