Traffic Stop Results In Drug And Child Abuse Charges - And Other Collegedale Police Calls

A traffic stop for a child seat violation in the 4500 block of Forsythia Way. Further investigation resulted in the driver being arrested for possession of methamphetamine with intent to resale, possession of marijuana, drug paraphernalia, child abuse, neglect, and child restraint law.

A U-Haul drove through the area of Apison Pike and Ooltewah Ringgold Road with an open door and dropped some household items. The items were removed from the roadway. 

Police responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle in the 4700 block of University Drive. The vehicle was gone before officers arrived.

A driver in the 9000 block of Lee Highway was misdemeanor cited for driving on a suspended license.

Officers made consensual contact with a vehicle in the 5000 block of Little Debbie Parkway. This led to the discovery of drug paraphernalia.

Officers assisted a broken-down motorist in the 9400 block of Apison Pike.

A driver in the 5900 block of Main Street was misdemeanor cited for possession of a Schedule VI drug.

A two-vehicle crash involving no injuries was reported in the 9500 block of Apison Pike.

Officers responded to a disorder in the 4800 block of Taylor Circle. Officers arrived and were able to settle the matter.

Officers were dispatched to an alarm in the Homewood subdivision. Everything checked ok.

A minor two-vehicle crash was reported in the 8900 block of Old Lee Highway.

A citizen turned in someone's personal property after finding it on the walking trails. Officers were able to locate the owner and return the property.

A motorist in the 9400 block of Apison Pike was misdemeanor cited for driving on a revoked license.

An individual was misdemeanor cited for theft at Walmart.

An unknown 9-1-1 call came in from the 5000 block of Harmony Lane. This turned out to be an accident by students.

Officers assisted Chattanooga officers with a disorder in the 9400 block of Bradmore Lane. Officers kept the peace until Chattanooga arrived and took control of the scene.

East Ridge Officers requested a K9 to track an individual in the 3500 block of Gleason. K9 Krino was deployed but unsuccessful in the track.

A driver in the 9500 block of Apison Pike was misdemeanor cited for driving without a license.

Hamilton County Deputies requested assistance with a suspicious vehicle with a possible intoxicated driver in the 8700 block of Thoroughbred Drive. The driver was located in the area and was given a ride home.

A Collegedale Fugitive was located at the Hamilton County Jail. The individual was booked on an active Collegedale warrant.

An individual requested that officers check on a family member in the 5000 block of University Drive. Officers were unable to make contact with the individual.

Officers were requested to check on an individual running down Apison Pike. The individual was gone before officers arrived.

Officers spoke with an individual about a possible scam email. The individual was advised on the matter.

A driver in the 9200 block of Lee Highway was misdemeanor cited for driving on a suspended license. The driver was taken into custody for a Bradley County Warrant.

A driver in the 5500 block of Little Debbie Parkway was arrested for DUI.

Officers were flagged down by a manic individual in the 5500 block of Little Debbie Parkway. The individual was voluntarily transported for an evaluation.

A driver in the 9100 block of Apison Pike was misdemeanor cited for possession of unlawful drug paraphernalia.
