Two batters later, Javaria Smith singled and then got to second on a wild pitch. Rylie Goodridge followed that up with a single. Laney Harris drove in Smith to make it 2-0. Alyson Jarvi then doubled off the left center field fence and drove in two more runs. Mississippi College was forced to make a pitching change as Camryn Bailey came in to replace Brookelyn Cannon and she retired the side.

MC got a couple of runs in the bottom of the second as they used three hits and an error to score Kamryn Eaton and Bailey. In the third, Bailey drove in Eaton again to make it a 4-3 contest. The Choctaws tied the game in the Bottom of the fourth when Jordan LaFosse tripled to score Emily Rigney.
