Lee Golf In Sixth Place After One Day At NCAA South Region

After a three-hour rain delay to start the day, the Lee University women’s golf team shot a 298 as a team to sit in sixth place at the NCAA South Region Tournament. The Lady Flames sit 16 shots back of the leaders in Anderson University who shot a 282.
 
However, Lee is only four shots back of second place Saint Leo University who shot a 294. Flagler College and Lynn University are tied for third with a 296. Nova Southeastern University is in fifth place, one shot better than Lee with a 297.
 
Supuschaya “Yui” Srichantamit leads the Lady Flames in fourth place as she shot a one under 71.
Hannah Nall is tied for 12 for the Lady Flames going one over with a 73. She shot a five under back nine to jump to 12th.
 
Banthita “Pearl” Phoncaratkun is tied for 20th shooting a three over 75. Freshman Olivia Ireland is tied for 50th with a 79 in round one. Emily Ritchie shot a 83 to be tied for 65th in the tournament.
 
Stella Jelinek of Flagler College and Jennedy McGaha of Anderson University have a share of the lead as they both shot a four under 68 on the day.
 
Round two for the Lady Flames begins at 8 AM on Tuesday morning at the Cleveland Country Club.
