William P. "Pat" Robinson
William P. "Pat" Robinson, 84, of Hixson, passed away on Monday, May 6, 2024.
He was born in Etowah, on Oct. 16, 1939, to the late Charles and Nina Robinson.
Pat served in the United States Air Force, was a graduate of the University of Tennessee and retired from the Tennessee Valley Authority as a Systems Analyst. He was a member of the St. Jude Catholic Church, served as a lifetime volunteer with CHI Memorial Hospital and a CHI Memorial Foundation member of the de Sales and Legacy Societies. Pat also volunteered for the Red Cross and Salvation Army. Pat and Carolyn traveled the world visiting all seven continents with over 1,800 cruise sailing days earning a position in the Holland America Cruise Line Presidents Club.
Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Carolyn Robinson; brother, Jim (Kay) Robinson; sister-in-law, Linda Robinson (wife to his brother Charles), several nieces, nephews and grandniece.
Pat was preceded in death by his brother Charles and sister Charlotte.
Services will be held at St. Jude Catholic Church at 930 Ashland Terrace, Chattanooga, Tn. 37415, from 11 a.m. until noon on Wednesday, May 15. A Military Funeral Honors Ceremony and interment will follow at the Chattanooga National Cemetery at 1 p.m. at 1200 Bailey Ave., Chattanooga, Tn. 37404.
