Several events will be taking place in the coming weeks in Chattanooga and they will be able to sell beer. At the Thursday meeting of the Chattanooga Beer Board, several applied for and received a temporary beer permit. An empty lot at 1511 Williams St., will be the location of Southside Food Truck Park during the month of June on Saturdays from10 in the morning to 10 at night. Many of us are currently caught in the middle between two Chattanooga community leaders, Blue Cross Blue Shield and CHI Memorial Hospital. With little to no warning and with even less understanding, patients who depend on both organizations for their cooperation and assistance are left outside looking in with little time to react or respond.
