Lincoln Davis To Address Greater Chattanooga Democratic Women's Club

  • Sunday, October 19, 2008

Tennessee's 4th District U.S. Rep. Lincoln Davis is set to keynote the annual Greater Chattanooga Democratic Women's Club Luncheon at the Chattanooga Choo on Saturday at 11:30 a.m. at the Chattanooga Choo Choo Roosevelt Room.

This year's luncheon will honor the hardworking Democratic women and celebrate the life and accomplishments of former First Lady, Eleanor Roosevelt (1933-1945), who would have celebrated her 124th birthday on Oct. 11.

"I look forward to talking with, honoring and thanking the Democratic Women for working hard to make sure we have stronger families, communities, and a stronger America," said Congressman Davis.

"Due to their tireless and often thankless work millions of America's veterans and working families have a higher standard of living."
