Wreckers (Lookouts) Fall in Extras After Ninth Inning Heroics

Chattanooga Wreckers center fielder Ivan Johnson blasted a game-tying homer in the ninth, but the Barons prevailed in extras and won 7-5. Playing their first-ever game as the Wreckers, Chattanooga fell behind early. The Barons had a 5-2 lead entering the bottom of the eighth inning, but the Lookouts managed to carve into the lead. On a 2-1 pitch, Tyler Callihan belted a home run to decrease the deficit to two. After Zach Maxwell shut down the Barons in the ninth, Austin Callahan led off the inning with a walk.
