Norman Henry Crouse, 88, of Hixson, died on Wednesday, November 12, 2008, in a local healthcare facility.

He was a native of Nottingham, New Hampshire and had lived in Chickamauga before moving here in 1967. He was a veteran of WWII having served in the Navy. He retired from Breeding Insulation Supervisor and was a member of Red Bank Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Ann Crouse; sons, Glenn (Dava) Crouse and Harold (Sandy) Crouse; brother, Ernest Crouse; grandchildren, Katie and Amber Crouse and Steven Crouse; several nieces and nephews.

A special thanks to the staff at Life Care Center of Red Bank.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. on Saturday at Lane Funeral Home, Coulter Chapel. Interment will be in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Activities Program at Life Care Center of Red Bank.

Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. on Friday at Lane Funeral Home, Coulter Chapel, 601 Ashland Terrace.
