Nine Area Players Chosen to 1A, 2A TSWA All-State Football Teams

Nine Chattanooga-area players have been chosen to all-state football teams by the Tennessee Sports Writers Association.

Chosen in 1A were South Pittsburg's David Jones, Trevor Barnes and Montrell Mitchell, Grace Academy's Josh Blake and Lookout Valley's Tay Vaughn Wynn.

In 2A, the selectees were Boyd-Buchanan's Cole Webster and Seth Emery and Marion County's Joe Muir and Tyner's Michael Poarch.

The 3A and 4A teams will be announced on Tuesday and the 5A and DII teams on Wednesday.
