David Porter, 50, of Cleveland, Tn., died Monday, October 24, 2011, in a local hospital.
He was employed with Catnapper of Cleveland. He was of Baptist faith and U.S. Air Force veteran.
He was preceded in death by his father, Bill Porter; and grandparents, James and Hester Porter and Earl and Lyda Dunn.
He is survived by his wife, Julia Chris”teena” Porter; sons, David Porter, Joseph Ingram, Trever Porter and Mikel Ingram; mother, Lucille Porter; sister, Darlene Johnansen and husband Daniel; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 29, at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Fike Funeral Home with Pastor Michael Cawood officiating. Interment will follow in Hilcrest Memorial Gardens with military honors and Brandon Ray, Mikel Ingram, Freddie Colemam, Elise Bredding, Bobby Trotter and Ethan Couch will serve as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, October 29, from 5-8 p.m. at the Fike Funeral Home who has charge of the arrangements.
