Kenny Waters, 43, of Ringgold, GA and formerly of Cohutta, GA, passed away Tuesday, November 6, 2012 at his residence. 

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Bill and Elaine Hyde and Lloyd and Louise Waters. 

He is survived by one son, Nicholas Waters of Ringgold; parents, Brenda and Kenneth Waters of Cohutta; aunts and uncles. 

The funeral service to honor the life of Mr. Waters will be held Saturday, November 10, at 2 p.m. at the Pleasant Grove Chapel of Julian Peeples Funeral Home with Bill Wilkinson and R.L. Simmons officiating. Burial will be in Varnell Cemetery. 

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday, November 10 from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. 

Julian Peeples Funeral Home, Pleasant Grove Chapel, Dalton, is in charge of funeral arrangements.

Junnus R. Womack, 93, died on Thursday, May 25, at Chattanooga Memorial Hospital.  A retired chemist, he had worked for Robins Air Force Base before moving to Ringgold. Eppard, 32, Charged With Aggravated Statutory Rape After 17-Year-Old He Was Living With Has Baby

Police have charged 32-year-old Anthony John Eppard with aggravated statutory rape after the 17-year-old girl he was living with had a baby.
