Man Shot Early Friday While Sitting In His Car On Buena Vista Drive

A man was shot early Friday morning while sitting in his car. 

Chattanooga Police responded at 2:59 a.m. to a shooting at 316 Buena Vista Drive. The victim, Adairius Espy, 33, had been transported to a local hospital via a personally-owned vehicle where he was treated for the non life-threatening injury.  

It was reported to detectives that Espy was sitting in a parked car at the above listed address when the suspect(s) shot at him and fled.  

The investigation is on-going and more information will be released when available.
