Street Closings Announced For The Weekend

Tampa Street and Fehn Drive between Frazier Avenue and River Street will be closed from 7:30 a.m.-noon on Saturday, for the University Surgical Associates’ Get Your Rear In Gear Chattanooga.   River Street from Coolidge Park to Heritage Landing and the streets inside Heritage Landing will not be closed but motorists should be aware of pedestrians in these areas.

The east bound curb lane of Frazier Avenue from North Market Street to the Walnut Street Bridge, Walnut Street from the south end of the Walnut Street Bridge to East 3rd Street and the west bound curb lane of East 3rd Street to High Street will be closed, and streets in the Bluff View Art District will be congested with pedestrians on Sunday, from 1:30-4:30 p.m.

for the Chattanooga Cares Strides of March. No streets will be closed in Bluff View Arts District, Coolidge Park and Renaissance Park, but motorists are advised to watch for pedestrians in these areas.
