Bug-a-paluza 14 VW Car Show Set For April 21-22 At Camp Jordan

  • Tuesday, April 3, 2012

Scenic City Volks Folks will host its 14th annual Bugapaluza VW Car Show April 21-22 at Camp Jordan. The weekend car show, begun in 1999, has grown from a handful of enthusiasts spending a Sunday afternoon in the dealership parking lot to one of the largest annual VW events in the region. Each year, a few thousand families some from as far away as California attend enjoying over 300 show cars, and over 70 vendors. Bugapaluza features Volkswagen cars old and new, food, children’s activities, music and entertainment.

Gates open at 8 a.m. Spectator entry is just $4 per person.

There is no charge for children under the age of 12.

Last year, the event hosted by Scenic City Volks Folks, a local VW club raised more than $13,000 from gate and concession booth sales. Proceeds benefit Ronald McDonald House Charities of Greater Chattanooga. For more information, visit www.rmhchattanooga.com or www.bugapaluza.com.
