Vernon Curtis Davis, 53, of Soddy Daisy, went to live with his Lord and Savior on Friday, July 27, at 11:20 a.m.

Curtis worked for Tulake Beverage for 12 years.

Left to forever cherish his memory are his loving parents, Charles and Wilma Davis; brother and sister-in-law, M. Keith and Darlene Davis of Dunlap and Jeffery Davis of Soddy-Daisy; sister, Tammie D. Davis of Ringgold; his special niece, Savannah Davis, aunt and uncle, Ruby and John Fyock; and lots of cousins and relatives. 

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, July 30, in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Odell Broadway officiating. Interment will follow at Smyrna Cemetery in Evensville, TN. 

The family will receive friends from 2-6 p.m. on Sunday, July 29, and from 10 a.m. until service time on Monday at the funeral home.

Arrangements are by Legacy Funeral Home and Cremation Center, Soddy Daisy.
