The 170 attendees at the Boys & Girls Clubs Tennessee Area Council meeting held at the Marriott Sept. 19-21 thoroughly enjoyed keynote addresses by Senator Burke and Coach Shulman where they both stressed the importance of not only succeeding academically, but also the absolute necessity of character and integrity building in our children.

The city of Chattanooga, and especially our at-risk inner city youth, are fortunate to have these dedicated community leaders support positive youth development.

As anyone with much running experience can verify, the fastest person doesn’t always win.  Running smart and using a tactical approach with planned pacing often produces ... (click for more)
