Samuel W. Mason, Jr., 64, died on January 14, 2012 at a hospital in Vineland, N.J.

Local survivors include his brothers, Gerald (Diane) Mason and Jack (Patricia) Mason.

Services are scheduled for Saturday, Jan. 19, at St. James Baptist Church in Norma, N.J. Interment will be in Fordville Cemetery in Gouldtown, N.J.  

Arrangements are by Edwards and Sons Funeral Home in Bridgton, N.J.

Martha Jane Harper, 72, died on December 4, 2016.  She lived in Chattanooga since the 1980's.  Jane was born in Atlanta, Georgia.  She attended Emory University and LaGrange College, and graduated from Georgia State University.  She later received her Masters of Remedial Reading degree from the University of Georgia. A man who agents said was dealing large quantities of meth from his East Ridge residence has been sentenced to serve 168 months in federal prison. Kenneth Lemons appeared before Judge Curtis Collier. Chattanooga Man With 5 Violent Felonies Gets 30 Years In Prison

A Chattanooga man with five violent felonies on his record has been sentenced to serve 30 years in prison. Demetrius Joiner, 30, was given a 20-year sentence by Judge Curtis Collier after he was ruled to be an Armed Career Criminal.
