Leonard Leon Craze, of Hixson, died on Monday, December 31, 2012.  He was 78.

Leon was born in Henegar, Ala., and was a longtime resident of the Chattanooga area.  He served the country in the United States Army.  Leon was retired from Chattanooga Tufters.  He was a member of Lupton Drive Baptist Church. 

Leon is survived by his wife, Evelyn Craze; son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Karen Craze and their daughter, Melin Craze all of Colorado Springs, Colo.; brother, Donald Craze, Henegar.

The family will receive friends from 2-3 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 6, at Lupton Drive Baptist Church, 859 Lupton Drive, Chattanooga, Tn. 37415.

Graveside services for Leon will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, Jan. 7, at Chattanooga National Cemetery with Reverend Randy Bell officiating. The military will provide honors after the graveside service.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Leon’s name to Lupton Drive Baptist Church, 859 Lupton Dr., Chattanooga, Tn. 37415.

Arrangements are by the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory and Florist, 5401 Highway 153, Hixson.
