Beatrice Arnold, 84, of Hixson, died on Monday, January 7, 2013. 

She was a member of Joy Baptist Tabernacle and served as secretary for many years. Beatrice retired from Dixie Yarns after 30 years of service. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold E. Arnold; daughter, Patty Trussell Barrett and sister, Pauline Cain.

Survivors include her son, Steven “Peach Man” Arnold; grandchildren, Tonia Trussell Martin, Angie Whinnery, Brent Arnold, Amy Arnold and Dion Arnold; great grandchildren, Dylan Arnold, Hannah Arnold, Ella Whinnery, Ewan Whinnery, Colston Arnold, Alivia Arnold and Chloe Arnold.

Services will be on Friday, Jan. 11, at 1 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Reverend Phil Shellabarger officiating. Burial will follow at Rhea Memory Gardens. 

Visitation is Thursday from 4-8 p.m. and Friday after 10 a.m. at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Joy Baptist Tabernacle.
