Henry Turner Childs, born March 21,1924 in Fayetteville, Tn., died on January 9, 2013.
He was a longtime member of Brainerd Baptist Church where he served as an usher/greeter for 55 years. Henry was a retired real estate broker.
He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Margaret Flournoy Childs, children, Steven Henry (Tami) Childs, Robert Turner Childs, Donna Childs (Tom) Kitsmiller, grandchildren, Caelie (Jeff) Rucker, Bryan Childs, Adam Childs, Emily Childs, Matthew Kitsmiller, Daniel Kitsmiller; great-grandchildren, Hayden Rucker, Camden Rucker, Austin Rucker.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday,Jan. 11, at Heritage Funeral Home Chapel, with Reverend Barry Wilks officiating. A private interment will follow the service in Lakewood Memory Gardens-East.
