Main Street Meats, at 217 East Main St., will celebrate a grand opening on Friday at 2 p.m.
Main Street Meats is a local butcher that works with local farms.
The butcher shop recently acquired an FEC-120 smoker.
Officials said, "We use craft butcher techniques that have survived and evolved from generation to generation, combined with modern processing technologies. Preserving tradition and bringing it into today, always with a focus on creating the best experience for the animal, the farmer, the community – and the person enjoying our products.
"Our meats are featured on the menus of the best restaurants in Chattanooga, including Alleia, Easy Bistro, Elemental, St. Johns, 212 Market, and The Flying Squirrel."
Hours:
Monday to Friday 11 a.m.-7 p.m.
Saturday 10 a.m.-4 p.m.
