Robin L. Harper, 55, of Harrison, Tennessee, died on October 30,2013.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Dora Jeannine Harper, brothers, Glen Harper and Stephen Harper.

Robin was very meticulous and devoted all he had to the task at hand spending his career in Chattanooga as a paint contractor where he was loved by his customers.

He was a true role model for kids and spent many years coaching baseball and softball. Robin gave so much to the community without ever seeking recognition and was instrumental in getting a girls' softball field for Central High School.

Robin was a warm and gentle man with a charismatic personality. He was a good friend to his siblings and always found a way to make people laugh. As a testament to the quality of Robin's character, he never met a stranger and was loved by countless friends. Robin was the epitome of a good man; he was a devoted husband and father and loving Papaw.  He was a hard worker, and most importantly, he loved The Lord with all his heart. His battle with cancer was just a minuscule part of his life, but his courage and strength throughout his treatment inspired so many.

Robin loved many and was loved by many. He will be deeply missed, but never forgotten. May the Lord watch over him.

He is survived by his wife of 35 years Susan, sons, Joshua A. (Denise) Harper, Nathan K. (Melissa) Harper, daughters, Kaitlin M. Harper, Ashley B. Harper, Dora J. Harper; stepmother, Jewel Harper, sisters, Kathy (Garland) Touchstone, Teresa (Terry) Kelly, Connie (Ray) Rowland, Kelly Davenport, and Elaine Harper.
