Ipes, Helen Greavu Burbank (Collegedale)

Helen Greavu Burbank Ipes, 95, of Collegedale, TN, passed away Thursday, December 19, 2013 in a Chattanooga health care facility. 

She was a member of McDonald Road Seventh Day Adventist Church and a member of Adventist Retirees Club. 

She was preceded in death by her parents,Cornell and Mary Greavu; her first husband, Howard Donald Burbank; second husband, Thomas Peter Ipes, Jr.; daughter; Helen Janine Clark; and sister; Mary Randall Jorgenson. 

Survivors include two daughters, Mary Ann Roberts of Ringgold and Donna Burbank Lindsay (Frank) of Cleveland; four grandchildren, Brian Lindsay, Cindy Tomaszewski, Christy Black and, Jack Burbank; one brother; Cornelle Greavu Jr. of Portland, TN; two sisters, Anna Dean of Holly, MI and Virginia Buchanan of Summerville, SC; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be held Monday, December 23, at 3 p.m. at McDonald Road Seventh Day Adventist Church with Elder Fred Fuller, Pastor and Elder Jim Albertson officiating. Interment will follow in the Collegedale Memorial Park Cemetery. 

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church on Monday, December 23.

Serenity Funeral Home of Cleveland has charge of the arrangements.
