Boyd-Buchanan’s Jim Cardwell and Siverdale’s Colton Rogers earned top honors on the 2013 All-District 5-AA football team.
Quarterback Cardwell is the offensive MVP while Rogers was selected defensive MVP.
The offensive lineman of the year is Aubrey Shamblin of Silverdale and E.J. Matthews of Boyd-Buchanan, is the defensive back/linebacker of the year.
Special team players of the year are Grace Baptist’s Ike Ateca and Danzelle Brown of Copper Basin.
The all-district team:
Boyd-Buchanan: RB Austin Jackson, DB Chris Lyon, DE Skyler Anderson, LB Jake Harden, OL Eli Legg, TE Jack Keebler and LB Cameron Pope.
Silverdale: RB/LB Josh Rogers, DE Lincoln Philips, DB/WR Tristan Huggins, RB/DB Matt McCulley and RB/DB Matt Millard.
Grace Baptist: LB Chet Matheny, FB/LB Tyler Wynn, OL/DL Logan Groves and RB James Rowell.
Copper Basin: LB Dakota Sosebee, LB Ryan Brooks and TE/SE Aaron English.
