Erickson Charged With Having Sex With Underage Girls He Met At Lakesite Church

A 39-year-old man has been arrested on charges of having sex with underage girls he met at a church at Lakesite.

The Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office initiated an investigation last Tuesday after being made aware of allegations concerning Gabriele Wayne Erickson.

Authorities said, "The investigation determined there is sufficient evidence to believe that Erickson did sexually assault at least two underage girls. Investigators found that Erickson met the victims while attending the Community Baptist Church. The leadership of the Community Baptist Church has been cooperating with the investigators regarding this investigation."

Erickson has been charged with aggravated statutory rape. He was arrested Sunday by investigators and transported to the Hamilton County Jail.

The investigation is ongoing.
