Morning Pointe Senior Living and Independent Healthcare Properties (IHP) is currently developing three new senior care communities in the states of Kentucky and Tennessee. Two will be located in Lexington, KY including a new free-standing Lantern Alzheimer’s Memory Care Center of Excellence. The third is under construction in Powell, TN outside of Knoxville. The latest additions to the Morning Pointe family bring the total number of assisted living, personal care and Alzheimer’s Memory Care communities to 23 in five states in the Southeast.
The projects, all on schedule for openings in 2014, mean an additional $30-million investment in the Lexington and Powell areas, creating 185 more jobs And 450 construction jobs.
