Margaret Monger Gilbert, 80 of Chattanooga, passed away Saturday, February 2, 2013 at The Hospice Care Center.
She was a resident of NHC nursing home facility for the past 10 years, and a member of Fairview Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Gordon Gilbert; parents Pete and Sallie Monger; brothers, Dick, Glenn, Charlie, Joe and Claude Monger.
Survivors include her sons, James (Missy) Gilbert of Ooltewah; John Gilbert, of Dallas, TX; daughter, Leslie (Jeff) Fore of Harrison; brother, Raymond (Joyce) Monger, of Ooltewah; four grandchildren, Jordan (Phillip) Arthur, Sarah Gilbert, Chloe and Preston Fore.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 7, in the Heritage Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Richard Jones officiating. Burial will follow at Chattanooga National Cemetery.
