Illegal Alien Caught For 3rd-Offense DUI To Be Deported

  • Monday, February 4, 2013

An illegal alien caught on a third DUI charge will be deported under a new state law.

Prosecutor Bates Bryan pointed out the section of law in the case of Prisilian Roblero Solis.

Attorney Robin Flores said Solis will soon be shipped to his native Mexico, leaving his wife and three children behind in Chattanooga.

He had been deported once before, but came back across the border illegally.

In the latest case, he was charged with third-offense DUI, reckless driving, leaving the scene of an accident, and not having insurance.

The other charges were dismissed after Solis pleaded guilty to third-offense DUI.

He was sentenced by Judge Don Poole to serve a minimum of 120 days of a workhouse term of 11 months and 29 days.

Solis has been held for 160 days.
