Police Looking For Cross In Shooting Of Ex-Girlfriend

Chattanooga Police are looking for Chaston Cross in an assault and shooting of his former girlfriend.

On Wednesday at approximately 9:45 p.m., police responded to a shooting at 1524 East 26th St. The victim, 23-year-old Tiffany Roberts, had been assaulted and shot in the shoulder by the 38-year-old Cross, police said.

Ms. Roberts was transported to a local hospital for treatment to her injuries which appeared to be non-life-threatening. Cross had fled the scene prior to police arrival.

Warrants for attempted murder, aggravated assault, and reckless endangerment have been filed for the arrest of Cross who has not yet been located. Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call the Chattanooga Police Department at 423-698-2525 or Crime Stoppers at 423-698-3333.
