16-Year-Old Shot On Woodland View Circle

A 16-year-old boy was shot Friday afternoon in the 5200 block of Woodland View Circle.

Chattanooga Police responded to a shooting at 5:07 p.m. and found the teenager suffering from a gunshot wound. He has been transported to a local hospital for treatment of the non-life-threatening injury.  

It was reported that he was outside when the suspect shot him and fled the scene in a car.  

The investigation is ongoing and more information will be released when available.
