PHOTOS: Calvin Donaldson Celebrates Its $150,000 Investment In Revamped Playground And Science Lab

With a gift of $100,000 from the Leonore Annenberg Scholarship and School Funds and a $50,000 gift from the Benwood Foundation, PEF and HCDE worked with Calvin Donaldson Environmental Science Academy to transform their playground and science lab into places for hands-on STEM learning.  The outdoor space has new playground equipment, revamped landscaping, and a nature play area connected to an environmental science curriculum.  The science lab has been renovated into a fully-operational lab furnished with updated science equipment and materials.
