Rivermont Presbyterian welcomes its new pastor, Clay Thomas.  He will be installed on Sunday, at 3 p.m. A reception will follow, and all are invited to attend.  

Reverend Taylor Hill, a retired PCUSA minister and motorcycle-riding buddy of Mr. Thomas will preach at the installation.  

Another significant change taking place at Rivermont is the end of tenure for Interim Associate Pastor Diane Stocker.  Her last Sunday was June 23.  The church is most grateful for her faithful service of almost six years.

Charges, Bond Reduced For Mother Of Child Who Died In Hot Car

Charges and bond have been reduced for the mother of an 11-month-old child who died in a hot car on the parking lot of a chicken place on Tunnel Boulevard on July 8.
