Lola Mae Malone Finley, 74, of Cleveland, TN, passed away at a local hospital on Tuesday, June 25, 2013 as a result of a lengthy illness.
She was of the Christian faith. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Mrs. Finley was retired from Peyton’s Southeastern.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lee Riley and Della Welch Malone; five brothers, Thomas Lee Malone, Joseph Vance Malone, James Vincent Malone, John Malone and Robert Malone; three sisters, Mildred Merkel, Thelma Cucksee and Betty Henry; and one granddaughter, Destany Head.
She is survived by her husband, James E. Finley Sr. of Cleveland; children, Tammy Head and Jimmy Finley all of Cleveland and Sandra Flood and her husband Terry of Eton, GA; four grandchildren, James Finley III, and fiancée` Stephanie Wilcox, Robert L. Lynn and his wife Amy of Cleveland, Brandon and Brittany Flood of Eton; three great-grandchildren, Ryan, Sarah and Hannah Lynn; two sisters, Daisey Rutledge and Joyce Green both of Cleveland; four brothers, Ed Malone and Daniel Malone of Crandall, GA, Gene Malone and Carl Malone of Cleveland; and several nieces and nephews.
A Remembrance of Life Service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, June 28 at the North Ocoee St. Chapel of the Jim Rush Funeral Homes with Rev. Yolanda Richardson officiating. Interment will follow in the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Thursday, June 27 from 5-8 p.m. at the North Chapel of the Jim Rush Funeral Homes, who has charge of the arrangements.
