Helen Irene Kerr, 88, of Cleveland, TN, passed away Tuesday evening July 16, 2013 in a Chattanooga health care facility.
She was a graduate of Bradley Central High School class of 1946.
She was preceded in death by her father and mother, Lester Martin Kerr and Mary E. Pettit Kerr; one sister, Mary Kerr Bivens; and four brothers, Barney P. Kerr, Raymond Edward Kerr, his twin brother, William Mack Kerr and James Robert “Bosco” Kerr.
She is survived by one sister, Charlotte Kerr Bivens; one brother, Charles Eugene Kerr; seven nephews, Robert E. Bivens, John F.” Giggy” Bivens, Steve D. Bivens, Craig L. Bivens, Charles David Bivens, Kevin Kerr, Bradley Kerr of Layton, UT and Todd Kerr of Hendersonville, TN; nieces, Judith Lesco of Nashville, Allison Kerr and Barrie Stogdell of Cartersville, GA; two sisters-in-law, Barbara Kerr of Hendersonville, TN, and Shirley Larson Kerr of Layton, UT; and several great-nieces and nephews.
The Remembrance of Life graveside service be conducted at noon Friday, July 19 from the Fort Hill Cemetery with Father Joel Huffstetler officiating.
The family request in lieu of flowers that memorials be made to your favorite charity.
The family will receive friends 10:30-11:30 a.m. on Friday, July 19 at the North Ocoee Chapel of the Jim Rush Funeral Homes who is in charge of the arrangements.
