Garden Ridge will celebrate its Chattanooga grand opening on July 17, at 11 a.m. The business is at 482 McBrien Road, East Ridge. The Chattanooga Area Chamber of Commerce is coordinating the event.
Officials said, "Garden Ridge is a home décor superstore. With over 85,000 square feet, the store will carry over 500,000 home décor items for the inside and outside of your home- from furniture, to patio cushions, pottery, rugs, decorative pillows, mirrors, wall décor, lamps, bedding, housewares and so much more- all at everyday low prices."

Hours of operation are Monday- Saturday, 9 a.m.-10 p.m., and Sundays, 9 a.m.-9 p.m.
Garden Ridge was founded in 1979 and began as Garden Ridge Pottery. The chain has grown to include 61 stores in 19 states, primarily spread through the Southeastern United States.
